Jen Greis has been playing volleyball since 6th grade. She played for 4 years at Holy Trinity, 3 years for Performance Volleyball and 4 years at Mount Saint Mary College. She was awarded with First Team All-Conference recognition her freshman and senior year and Second Team All-Conference her sophomore year at Mount Saint Mary. She played as Libero the year her team won their first ever conference championship in 2012. Her senior year she broke the record for Career Digs at Mount Saint Mary with 1,543 digs. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Jen has coached at volleyball camps and intramural teams for many years during high school and helped run volleyball clinics at Mount Saint Mary during her time there. This is her second year with Performance.
Christy Herring graduated Long Island University with a BS in Health Science (Athletic Training), where she captained her team for three seasons and received the Arthur Ashe Jr. Scholar Athlete Award and Coach’s Award. Upon graduation, she started her coaching career at Nightingale Academy, as assistant coach on the Varsity Girls Team. She then moved on to teach and coach at Hoboken Academy in Hoboken, NJ for one year. She moved onto coach at the division one level taking over as the Head Coach at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY. She coached the Terriers to their first win in over five seasons (81 loss streak) against Quinnipiac University. Upon her departure, after three years at SFC, she moved on to her high school alma mater, Christ The King , where she Head Coached both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Teams. In her second season coaching with the Royals, she led both the JV and Varsity to the CHSAA Div II Championship. Bringing back the title to Christ the King after 10 years! She moved onto Monsignor McClancy in 2014 as the Head Coach of both the JV and Varsity Girls team and in Spring of 2015, became the Head Coach for the first ever Monsignor McClancy Boys Volleyball Team. She currently coaches at McClancy and is in her third year coaching with Performance.
Jenny Hogan played for Western Connecticut State University as a setter, receiving awards for Rookie of the Year in 2011, All Conference Second Team in 2011, New England Volleyball Coaches All-Rookie Team in 2011, All Conference First Team in 2012, and Scholar-Athlete each season. She graduated in May of 2015 from the Kathwari Honors Program at WCSU with a degree in journalism and is currently working towards a masters in school psychology at Mercy College. She played for performance juniors for 5 years and this is now her fourth year coaching here. Two years ago, Jenny coached her 17 National team to the number 7 spot in GEVA Club ranking.
Christina Juran played four years at Christ the King RHS and one year at Dowling college. Now a Senior at Dowling she will be graduating in May with an aviation management degree. She currently holds a private and instrument rating and works at a flight school at Brookhaven airport. Christina coached volleyball several years for CYO. This is Christina's third year coaching at Performance.
